Guitar or Bass Player

Description

Last year I recorded an EP ( here's the record: gkchords.bandcamp.com.) in my bedroom and I'm putting together a band with a few other guitarists. Moved to the area from Brooklyn in the summer and I've found a few like-minded musicians-- we are starting to rehearse. Right now I'm on bass and singing, but will gladly switch to guitar if you are an accomplished bass player. If guitar is more your thing, then looking for rhythmic, muscular riffs and comping. If you write your own material and it compliments the style then that's even better. The focus is on playing well than worrying too much about the style, but if you're searching on keywords then rock, pop, psychedelic, indie, lo-fi -- these are all words that make sense for what I'm doing. We are mostly in our 40s and have jobs and families, but really try hard to make time for music. Ideally would like to (eventually) play a few shows, if we can get a solid set together. I don't think it's unreasonable to work for many hours to perfect a 2 minute song. This probably means doing 'homework' between rehearsals. If this sounds like something you might be into then please hit me up! Confirm for me that you are vaccinated in your email, and include links to any stuff you've done.
