I am looking for long term farm help. Extra hours available during holiday break to allow for training of which horses get which feed and other info you will need. And to help cover for 2 full time employees during the holidays. After holidays when UNT or college starts back up, weekends to cover for us and could be extra weekday hours depending on who we hire. Heading into cold season and afterward, too hot! Dirty and heavy work that sometimes involves moving heavy items, organizing/cleaning of barns, painting fence and lots of yard work to pull weeds, trim bushes, weedeat. Occasional running of errands. If you are a student, school comes first so will accommodate if have a paper due, a test, etc.
The horse related work involves feeding, cleaning waters and stalls and helping to put horses in and out of pastures. In the Spring, we have foals coming so helping to handle babies. No riding required.
No smoking, drug free and honest and a plus is being comfortable around large dogs and horses. No major experience needed, but a positive attitude is!
About 10 to15 hours a week on weekends long term or maybe more depending on who we hire and season we are in.
We are just a few minutes from the UNT campus.
