Lessons are available for students of all levels and ages interested in: Learning correct hand/finger technique, developing his/her musical ear and knowledge of music theory, learning how to read music, learning how to improvise. I am a graduate of the Jazz Studies program in Ethnomusicology at UCLA. I am also the winner of the 2008 Louis Armstrong Young Composers Award from ASCAP and participant in the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program at the Kennedy Center. I have been teaching and playing piano, organ and keyboards for ten years.
Lessons are tailored to each student's own musical tastes, experience and goals.
