PLEASE - don't get puppies, kittens, bunnies, gerbils, and other critters for your kids at Christmas. Just like at Easter and other holidays, the pet is great for the first few days. Then it has to be walked, cleaned up after, fed, taken to the vet, etc., and it's no longer given the love and attention it deserves. Get your kids a stuffed animal - it will most likely be enjoyed just as much, and won't be left with no attention. Think about it please.
