An esports event to celebrate the opening of our new esports arena featuring tournaments, career workshops, giveaways, and festivities. The IVC Esports Grand Opening aims to ignite the academic esports community of Irvine by showcasing the potential of esports through a series of 4 epic tournaments on January 22nd. Esports is one of the hottest new phenomenon for academic competition that has massive potential to change students lives. A well ran tournament, with strong production value, hosted by the elite companies these students look up to like Glorious Gaming, ViewSonic, TSMU, CLG, and 100t, alongside elite colleges like UCLA, CSULB, and UCI, will drive a dedicated student gamers of Irvine as they see the world they've only been able to explore alone in their rooms, come to life right before their eyes.
