A safe space for intellectual and stimulating conversation in the city moderated by Lurlene Irvin, Ph. D. This will be the first meeting of the city's new book club, "Jackson Renaissance". We will meet weekly on Sundays throughout the city. The city's new book club purpose is to host a healthy dialogue with Jacksonians and those from neighboring areas about turning our city around through literature. The first quarter for 2022 theme will feature books centered around "The Great Migration". As most could agree, our capital city problem roots can be traced to "The Great Migration" from the city, beginning in the seventies.
