Tonight's band: STARHAVEN ROUNDERS We're pulling out all the stops for KC Restaurant Week this year by offering a truly unique experience aboard The Ship. We've been excited for months to offer this to a select few guests. Tonight's featured band are the country/western superstars, STARHAVEN ROUNDERS. Starven Rounders is a country western lover’s dream, featuring pedal steel and dueling male/female vocalists. Their sound aboard The Ship is exquisite and if you're a fan of classic country music, two-steppin', or just old-fashioned good timin', you will not be disappointed. One ticket reserves a table or seat and includes our three-course KCRW dinner, one complimentary drink from the bar, staff gratuity, and the show for your entire party. You buy the table and invite whoever you like to join. When you arrive at The Ship, our host will seat you, and we'll take care of the rest. Arrival and seating: 6:00-7:00pm ~ Showtime 7:30-9:00pm After 9:00pm the room will begin to fill as our evening crowds arrive. You're welcome to stay at your table as long as you like. Stick around and the band will play another show beginning at 10:00pm, or pop over to The Ship for a drink at the original bar. BOOTH SEATING: One of five booths which comfortably seat up to four people. Sit back and relax! TALL TABLES: One of four tall tables which comfortably seat up to four people with good sightlines to the stage. PICNIC TABLES: One of two picnic tables which comfortably seat up to four people with a front-row view of the on-stage action. BANQUET TABLE: Our large banquet for up to eight people right in the middle of all the action with the best views of the stage. BAR SEATING: We have sixteen individual seats available at the bar for smaller groups. Enjoy lightning-quick service from our bartenders and enjoy the show! ABOUT THE BAND Starhaven Rounders have swiftly built a reputation for high energy shows full of ‘sass and defiance’ (Tim Finn, KC Star). Conceived by drummer Wade Williamson (the descendant of a long line of country western musicians) the band pulls material for their songbook from other eras, performing fan favorites like 'Jolene' and 'City of New Orleans', in addition to lesser known songs from iconic country legends like Willie Nelson, George Jones, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and more. The seven-piece band (with dozens of years of combined experience on stage) is a classic country western lovers dream, featuring Harmonica, pedal steel and dueling male/female vocalists. Even people who don’t consider themselves fans of the genre will get caught up in the Rounders upbeat, full throttle performances. Currently finishing up a 5 song EP, the Rounders can get the crowd dancing and singing along, as well as pull heartstrings with their powerful duets and authentic approach.
