MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION SHOOTING: Seven Woods Drive and Laramie Place, 12/3/21, 8:41 a.m. Two unoccupied vehicles were shot during the overnight hours. No injuries were reported. STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: Virginia Hills Avenue and The Parkway, 12/4/21, 12:51 a.m. An officer saw a 2021 Jeep Wrangler that was reported stolen from a nearby jurisdiction. Officers saw a group of juveniles standing next to the stolen car and attempted to stop them. The juveniles ran and after a short foot pursuit, the officer arrested the juvenile driver and another juvenile. Both were taken into custody and released to their parents. Additional stolen property was recovered in the vehicle. SHOOTING: Frye Road and Richmond Highway, 12/5/21, 11:30 p.m. Officers responded for the report of occupants shooting a gun out of a red vehicle. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived. Several shell cases were found. No injuries were reported. One vehicle was found to be damaged by gunfire. STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: 7900 block of Janna Lee Avenue, 12/7/21, 11:44 p.m. Officers saw a 2015 Toyota Highlander that was reported stolen earlier in the day. The vehicle was occupied by a 21-year-old man from Alexandria and a juvenile. The man was taken into custody and charged with grand larceny. He was also served with an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. The juvenile was released to a parent. MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 8201 Leesburg Pike (Tysons Florist), 12/8/21, 10:14 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business, painted the walls with graffiti, and took property. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 1350 Chain Bridge Road (Shell), 12/9/21, 1:16 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 1300 Old Chain Bridge Road (Sun Cleaners), 12/9/21, 8:15 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. MASON DISTRICT STATION COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7129 Columbia Pike (Domino's Pizza), 12/7/21, 6:40 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. RESTON DISTRICT STATION COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 1025 Seneca Road (BRX American Bistro), 12/6/21, 9:30 a.m. Someone entered the business and took property. FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION STRONG ARM ROBBERY/FALSE IDENTIFICATION TO LAW ENFORCEMENT: 6400 Springfield Mall (Macy's), 12/6/21, 4:43p.m. Macy's loss prevention office contacted police after two men and one woman entered the business and took property with force. Responding officers quickly located the three responsible, and they were taken into custody. A 28-year-old man from Maryland was transported to the adult detention center and charged with robbery and false identification to law enforcement. A 20-year-old female from D.C. was transported to the adult detention center and charged with robbery and false identification to law enforcement. A 24-year-old man from D.C. was released on a summons for petit larceny. No injuries were reported. SHOOTING: 9800 block of Hagel Circle, 12/7/21, 12:16 a.m. An unoccupied residence was struck by several rounds of gunfire. No injuries were reported. Preliminarily, this does not appear to be a random act. COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 7011 Manchester Boulevard (T-Mobile), 12/7/21, 3:07 p.m. Three men entered the business and took property with force. No injuries were reported. ARMED ROBBERY: South Van Dorn Street and Coverdale Way, 12/8/21, 5:55 p.m. A man approached the victim on the sidewalk, displayed a firearm and took his property. No injuries were reported. WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 8400 Old Keene Mill Road (West Springfield Car Care), 12/5/21, 7 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7520 Rolling Road (Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church), 12/8/21, 1:21 a.m. Someone forced entry into the church and took property. FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 9511 Blake Lane (7-11), 12/6/21, 11:48 p.m. A man entered the business, threatened the clerk, and took property. No injuries were reported. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 13995 Metrotech Drive (Chantilly Pharmacy), 12/9/21, 3:07 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. ATTEMPTED ROBBERY/ MALICIOUS WOUNDING (STABBING): 4200 block of Marzin Place, 12/9/21, 11:47 p.m. A man approached the victim outside, produced a knife and demanded his property. As the victim tried to run away, the man stabbed him in his upper body. The man fled the area. The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
