Established 50's / 60's soul-rock cover band seeking a young (25-40), male, experienced soul sounding singer> Must have a stage presence, transportation, and weekend availability. We gig all over the Chicago area 2-3 times a month. This is not an oldies band. The band is made up of a very fun, wild, younger crew that brings a lot of energy, and an engaging performance. This is a 6-7 piece band (guitar, bass, horn section, drums, occasionally keyboards) Please have knowledge of the genre (Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Arthur Conley Rolling Stones, Sam Cooke, Smokey Robinson, Jackie Wilson etc), singing experience, and preferably a recording of a performance.
