TINLEY PARK, IL — Tickets went on sale Friday for the much anticipated tour of Styx and REO Speedwagon this summer.
The group will be joined by the Canadian band Loverboy at Hollywood Casino Ampitheatre in Tinley Park on June 4.
Both Illinois-formed rock classics will perform old and new material at the Live and Unzoomed tour, which is scheduled to begin in May and end August.
During the pandemic, Styx was busy putting the finishing touches on their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown, which was released this past June.
Meanwhile, Oak Lawn native and REO Speedwagon lead singer Kevin Cronin, revealed in previous interviews that he has been working on an autobiography which he hopes to have completed alongside the 2022 tour.
Although Styx and REO have been touring the country separately since June and July, the summer trek will be Loverboy's first full tour since the pandemic began, according to AJ Roccaforte.
Tickets are available at Live Nation and Tinley Park Tickets for prices ranging from $50 - $500.
