It happened at the Bold Pizza shop at 15th and Spring Garden Streets just before 10 p.m. According to police, three men attempted to rob the CVS Pharmacy at 490 North Broad Street around 9:45 p.m. They ran off with no money. A short time later, authorities got a call about a robbery at the pizza shop. Employees outside the building told officers one suspect went into the shop. When he took money from the cash register, an employee fought back.
