ELMHURST, IL — An Elmhurst woman was arrested after she spit on customers and police officers Tuesday at a local store, police said. Gabriella Del Toro, 42, of Elmhurst, was charged with disorderly conduct, attempted battery and resisting a police officer. She was released on bond. Del Toro spit on the officers as they tried to take her into custody, police said. The incident took place about 2 p.m. at Ebel's Ace Hardware, 1028 S. York St., according to a report.
