Press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office: Joni Money December 10, 2021 Shortly before 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2021, Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies were called to investigate reports of a pedestrian struck on Highway 78 at Cresview Road near Dora.  Deputies arrived to find a currently unidentified female had been struck by multiple vehicles on Highway 78.  She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is conducting a full investigation into the fatal accident.
