Hi, I'm Holstein (Compatibility with dogs unknown) I am set to be euthanized 12/14, 8 am. Why am I E-listed? Sadly, I am mentally breaking down from living in this small concrete kennel! It is loud and I can barely turn around. It's just not humane to keep me here in this condition. Who can save my life? I really don't want to die!! Look at my cute face!!! I'm a 2-year-old, neutered, black and white American Staffordshire Terrier (60 lbs.). I came into the shelter as a stray. Back then, I was super loving and friendly but, it didn't take long for me to become stressed. Now, I am not coping well in this tiny kennel day after day. Staff and volunteers say that I am the sweetest dog that loves to be petted and I'm very friendly when I'm out in the play yard. Inside the shelter though, I am overwhelmed, stressed with anxiety( panting, heavy breathing etc.) and insecure. Because I am very frustrated from being confined, I jump up repeatedly and grab and tug at the leash- especially when returning to my kennel....I just don't want to go back in! I have got to get out soon or the shelter will put me down since my mental health is at serious risk now! I need a foster home that will provide routine and structure and one where I can decompress and relax. I hope someone steps up for me! I do not want to die! Can you save my life?
