• Jackie • Missing from 614 S. Fountaine St. in Flagstaff • Last seen on Saturday, December 4, 7PM • Long haired. Mostly very dark brown with golden markings on her face and feet. There are also subtle golden highlights along her back, especially toward her tail and down her rear flanks. • About 11-12 lbs • Ear-tipped feral • Six years old • Spayed female • Had initial vaccinations I’ve never wanted a cell phone so I have no photo to share. Jackie (who’d also answer to Jacqueline Elizabeth) demands that I pet her. And she used to let a former neighbor do the same. Calling out to her is OK but please don't try to pet her. Please do not try to pick her up, as she is feral. I’ve been taking care of a herd of fixed ferals for decades. Jackie & her sister Mary Ellen are by far the two youngest. I always used to tell them that all I have to do is live another 10 to 15 years and we could all die in each other’s arms. Here’s what I wrote on a flyer passed out to my neighbors … At any time during last Sat-Sun night (12/4-5), did anyone hear or see her get hit by a speeding car? Chased off or attacked by a dog? Has anyone found her body around your house and disposed of it? It’d be devastatingly painful to learn any of that, but better than the emptiness of not knowing. Jackie didn’t show up for breakfast with the others at 9AM on Sunday. And since then there’s been a cavity where my heart used to be. Even I can use Google maps. But for orientation, Fountaine is on the southside. The 600 block is one block west of the corner of O’Leary & Franklin. Behind (east of) NAU’s Mountain View Greek dorm.
