Work With Dogs - $30 per hr - Photographer's Assistant

Looking for someone who is comfortable around dogs and would love working with them! I am a professional pet photographer (otlpets.com) and I need a couple assistants at least a few times a month. Sometimes you will be holding the dogs on leash, sometimes you will be getting them to hop on a rock and stand there, other times you will be next to me holding a treat to get them to look at the camera. Occasionally you may not be working with the dogs at all and may just be holding a light or my camera bag. More details will be discussed during the interview. You must have reliable transportation. Some portrait sessions will be in the city but many will not. You must be able to travel at least 30 miles outside of Boston. We may do sessions at a local park, the clients home, a beach, or a local trail. Generally a session will be about 2 hours and you would be paid $75 per session. If it is shorter you will still get $75 and if it is longer you will get an additional $30 per hour. During the winter there may only be 1 or 2 sessions a month but once spring and summer hit it should be at least 3-5 sessions per month. Dates and times will vary, but generally sessions are in the afternoon or evenings. Usually weekdays, and on rare occasions there may be weekend work. You are not expected to be at every session, just the ones that fit in your schedule.
