Sunland Park NM

Description

(NOT the pitbull or the small brown one) I have these dogs (mutts) I cannot keep with me anymore. Love them but I can no longer give them the space or attention they require. EXPERIENCED owners only! They are mixed with Belgian Malinois and are used to being outdoors hunting and camping. They are 3 years old, 1 male 1 female, siblings, potty trained and friendly only to small dogs as they have been attacked by javelina, coyotes, and other big dogs. They are fun and loving but truly a handful. They hate cats. Ideal life would be at a ranch with A LOT of space to run around (the female likes to herd). Or for someone who will take them with on their outdoor adventures regularly and give them a job or purpose. They need to bond with you first. they are very loyal to me but Im sure they can find someone else they would connect with. They are not aggressive, but are good guard dogs and one needs to introduce ppl to them by putting your hand on the person's shoulder. This is only when in their property. Out in the park or when hiking they are friendly to everyone and like to say hi. They do not accept treats from strangers tho. The problem with my male is that if he has the chance he will wander off for about an hour and come back. This wouldnt be a problem for me if the Karens would stop calling animal control on him. Female is very sweet and could stay inside all day and loves affection. Im willing to give either one or both, but under the condition that we get to meet up and have them see and play with each other often. They have been through a lot together and wouldnt want to separate them but I have to. We usually go hiking at the mountain and they go chase rabbits and explore, they always stay at a reasonable distance and come back with a whistle. I know they dont sound desireable to most city folk, but if I cant find them a home I might have to put them down. Also open to anyone that could Foster them for a few months so I have the time to get everything back in order here. I would buy them food and take them out to play or camp with me for a few days.
