CAPSULE MACHINE OPERATOR We are seeking an experienced Capsule Machine Operator eager for an opportunity to apply knowledge and experience working with capsule machines, to a growing nutritional supplement company on Long Island. As Capsule Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up the encapsulation machine equipment (adjust settings during operation if necessary), ensuring proper operation of equipment, reporting any problems/concerns to upper management, and conducting routine maintenance procedures. A successful Capsule Machine Operator is meticulous, determined, and has the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve using critical thinking skills. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain and operate encapsulation machine • Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of machine (Grease, oil, clean, and vacuum) • Log and record readings for equipment and procedures • Monitor operation of encapsulation machine periodically and report any issues to upper management • Comply with current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). QUALIFICATIONS • Previous Experience working with Encapsulation Machines (Preferred) • Strong Troubleshooting and Critical Thinking Skills • Ability to Read, Follow Instructions, and Fill Out Documents • Bilingual Spanish (Strongly Preferred but not required) JOB TYPE: Full-time PAY: Negotiated Based on Experience WORK LOCATION: Hauppauge Area
