Established Horse Stable looking for a PM Horse Feeder who can work 4 hours each weekday afternoon (1230p-430p, roughly) and 8 hours Saturdays (8a-4p roughly). Weekly pay. Rate $25/hr. 28 hours guaranteed. Prefer: familiar with horses and animals, physically strong--can lift 50lbs., good attention to detail Required: Can lift 50lbs., No criminal background, reliable work history, love of animals --horses/dogs etc., ability to commit to 6 months or more. Job Details: cleaning stalls and paddocks as needed, refilling and refreshing water for horses, taking horses from the paddocks to the barn and visa versa, feeding the horses according to the feed requirements, restocking feed and hay, sweeping and tiding barn. Must be able to tolerate working in the winter months (Spring and Summer and glorious). Must be reliable everyday as horses must be fed. Willingness to learn if no prior experience in a barn. This job is best suited for someone who is strong and efficient and has completely reliable transportation. Must be able to pass criminal background check.
