We are an essential business and need to fill a few full time positions ASAP. Who are we??? Established in 1997, Pacific Architectural Wood Products (PAWP) is a privately held corporation, dedicated to providing commercial doors, primarily for the tenant improvement market. Our management, sales and engineering groups, comprise over 150 years of combined experience in the architectural wood door, finishing and veneer market. PAWP niche is built on our ability to quickly provide any available veneer from well-established veneer suppliers in both domestic and exotic species. We are located in NE Portland off 54th and Glisan Trimet accessible. What would you be doing? Involvement in the production of commercial grade wood doors. • Tasks include but are not limited to: cutting, assembly, sanding, finish, shipping/receiving and packaging. • Tools and equipment used: Power Saws, Sanders, Spray tools, Forklift, and a wide variety of other machinery. *We are willing to train the right person. What you will need to support our mission…. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • The ability to work in a manufacturing environment and maintain a high standard of workmanship up to the company's quality standards. • The ability to maintain a safe working environment. • Manual lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching, intermittently for an 8 hour period, plus overtime as needed. Experience in Doors, Windows, Millwork or related field Knowledge of Wood species, veneer and grading wood Able to run a sander, miter saw and planer How we support you… Benefits • Opportunity for advancement. • Profit sharing! 401k!
