Let's celebrate a year of badass transit work we've achieved, enjoy each other's company, and look forward to another year amazing work! This year was a PHENOMENAL year for Seattle Subway. Check out everything we accomplished! This year we: 1). Made and secured $2.5 Million Citywide Integrated Master Plan funding at SDOT with 6 city council cosponsors, 2). wrote House Bill 5528 with Senator Jamie Pedersen to finally raise REAL dollars for a 2024 ST4 ballot measure, 3). raised over $6,500 this year (from GiveBIG, Giving Tuesday, and fresh new swag from the opening of our new Seattle Subway Store), 4). got thousands of signatures to our ST4 action letter, 5). steped up our engagement game and print collateral materials in a big way with new brochures, activities, and photo booth at PrideFest and Northgate Link Opening, 6). completed our endorsement process successfully, 7). and successfully advocated against the worst Sound Transit realignment delays, expediting Graham St Station, Boeing Access Station, and 130th Street Station 5-10 years ahead of schedule. In summary: we are transit advocacy badasses. So come celebrate our accomplishments and enjoy each other's company in the spirit of the holiday season at Joe's First Hill apartment. It's potluck style so please consider bringing a contribution of food and/or drink (some of you are particular when it comes to wine especially!) but it's not necessary!
