Description: This program provides the foundational skills needed for a career in the catering and events industry by teaching the elements of catering services and the business side of catering including how to cook for large crowds, organize your kitchen, manage your time, work with clients, prepare beautiful food, and event menu planning. This course will also demonstrate best practices for marketing a catering business, considerations for preparing and executing contracts, effectively manage human resources, and applying basic accounting principles. Program Dates & Times (MUST ATTEND ALL DATES IN THE CLASS) Class 1: January 20, 24, 25, 26, 27 (Thurs. Mon. Tues. Wed. Thurs.) Class 2: March 10, 14, 15,16, 17 (Thurs. Mon. Tues. Wed. Thurs.)
