Jake Huffman, Introducing Just Blake, and Special Guests ALL AGES Jake Huffman, Introducing Just Blake, and Special Guests ALL AGES 12.16.21 JAKE HUFFMAN After 2 years of finding his new sound, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jake Huffman, brings his solo project to the State House in New Haven Connecticut December 16th at 8pm. At the age of 14 Jake began touring as drummer and lead singer in McLovins. At the time Rolling Stone described the band as “having the ability to harness the musical ferocity of Trey Anastasio, Les Claypool and Stewart Copeland before being able to legally drive a car” It opened doors for Jake to work as a composer and lyricist for Sesame Street and to perform with artists like Blink-182, Jack White and Post Malone. Taking the stage with a fresh catalogue of groundbreaking and self-produced indie rock, he goes from drums to keys to guitar all while communicating to an audience with deeply personal lyrics and stony vocals. Influenced by the alt-rock sound of the early 2000’s, Jake and his band send us into the next generation of rock n’ roll. You do not want to miss this one. THE SCHOOL OF ROCK For over a decade, School of Rock has taught guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and keys through an innovative performance-based method. Students are put through a series of private lessons and group rehearsals and then get to show off what they learn on real rock stages to real rock audiences.
