Experience the magic music of Scotland and Ireland with the Seán Heely Celtic Band featuring U.S National Scottish Fiddle champion Seán Heely. Enjoy fiery dance tunes and ancient, soaring melodies from Scotland and Ireland. Original compositions abound and they have rich vocal harmonies in their solid song repertoire that features ballads, sea shanties, and songs in Irish and Scottish folk tradition. They have performed in venues such as the Kennedy Center, Strathmore Music center, and the Niel Gow Festival in Scotland. The Arts Collective is a 501(c)(3) organization created to address the cultural and economic needs of Havre de Grace and the surrounding region.  The Arts Collective has several goals. First, to bring regional and national high caliber performances to The Cultural Center at the Opera House that engage and attract audiences.  Second, to further develop the Arts and Entertainment (A&E) District program of the State of Maryland attracting artists to live, work and play in Havre de Grace.  Third, to enhance the arts by serving as the umbrella organization for the Arts by The Bay Gallery, serving as a cooperative gallery and offering educational opportunities which nurture learning and creativity.
