A comprehensive 4- hour childbirth class in a positive and personalized learning environment. Our 2 week January series has a strong focus on the physiological birthing process including phases and stages of labor, comfort measures, options for pain management, positions and pushing, and what to expect immediately post-birth. We will also discuss area hospital expectations, interventions, how to avoid unneeded procedures, and important considerations when creating your birth plan. This class offers additional information on partner support and guidance and we highly encourage your partners or a support persons’ attendance, if applicable. Tuesdays in January, 2022: Jan 11th and 18th from 6:30-8:30pm. Fees: $120 for series; 1 ticket needed for pregnant person plus one, if applicable. Your insurance/FSA may offer reimbursement for childbirth education. We are happy to provide a detailed receipt for this class series if needed.
