North NJ developer-builder-architecture-civil engineering company, 35 years in business, has full time immediate opening in Jersey City for NON-UNION HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR for high-rise residential projects, new underground utilities, street re-grading, general site labor. Years of work ahead, long-term oppty for team player pro used to large projects. Job reports to underground utility/sitework Superintendent and Civil Engineer. MUST have 5 to 10+ years full time employment operating EXCAVATORS, cats, skid-steers, dump trucks, lulls. track-and-back hoes, other dirt machines for underground utilities excavation/installation, skilled sitework. MUST be physically ABLE AND WILLING to work off the machine, 'on and in the ground' as needed to guide & assist site workers, shoot grades, stakeout areas, read plans/drawings. Machine and OSHA training, certifications, licenses are strong candidates. English required, Spanish an advantage but not required. COMPENSATION: *TOP non-union PAY FOR TOP SKILLS*.
