Release your old ways of being and heal your heart while working with cacao, sound healing & the energy of the Mayan Tzolk’in. Join me for a deep dive into the healing power of cacao, in the last group cacao ceremony I will hold for awhile. Sunday, 12/12/2021, the Mayan day of Waqi’ (6) Tijax is the day of the obsidian blade, or the surgeon’s scalpel, and the sixth day of the Trecena of Aj. This is a powerful day to discern what needs to be removed from your life in order to make room for the growth and blessings to come. When combined with medicinal cacao and a shamanic style sound healing, the work we do in the dark corners of our souls on this day will be amplified and channeled to provide deep healing. This cacao ceremony will follow the format that has been passed down to me by Mayan Keqchikel elders, Tata Izaias Mendoza and Nana Izabel of LavaLove Cacao in Guatemala, tracing the energies of the Mayan calendars through our lifetimes and bringing forth what needs to be healed and released, so we may move forward in our lives, works and relationships with open hearts and minds. They have given their blessing and inititiated me to perform healing ceremonies using cacao as a plant medicine. I practice #activereciprocity with my elders by donating ten percent of my gross revenue to their preferred charity, which helps support indigenous communities in Guatemala and promotes traditional and sustainable growing practices for cacao farmers.
