She flirted with yoga in college and returned for the physical practice in 2012 and found so much more than movement and strength. Powerful mind-body awareness, a path to self-wisdom, connection to the breath, and the unfolding of a spiritual practice had her hooked. She completed her 200 hour certification in 2016 and dove into teaching. There is always more to learn on and off the mat and Cassidy will forever be a student of the practice. She feels yoga can help anyone at any age find the warrior within, achieve balance, and create powerful connections between the mind and the body. In our busy, fast-paced world, yoga practice allows us to find calm in the midst of chaos. Beyond yoga and health coaching, Cassidy loves spending time with her husband, Josh, and three amazing kids, cooking, reading, traveling, hiking, skiing, and spending time in nature. “Yoga is for everyone, it’s not a competition, there are no expectations, it’s about the journey.” Vinyasa description Sign-up for Cassidy’s class at ABC and you will be met with an upbeat, flowing practice combining breath and movement. Classes will be thoughtfully sequenced to find a balance of opening, strength, and stability in the body and mind. Variations and modifications will be offered to allow practitioners to move through the postures to their own degree. A basic level of fitness and knowledge of yoga is recommended.
