Please join CFA Society Indianapolis and Women Investors Network (WIN) for an exciting co-hosted holiday double feature as we eat, drink and be merry together! We will be kicking off festivities with Open Mic Pitch Night at Speakeasy Broad Ripple. Attendees are welcome to take the stage and pitch their favorite investment idea (or hot topic), though we ask that you refrain from dropping the mic! The pitch can cover anything investment related that you would like to address with the group. We will not be recording these “pitches”, our objective is to provoke thought and discussion amongst attendees. Pitches will be accompanied by beer, wine, and appetizers to kick off the holidays! Following Open Mic Pitch Night, both organizations are also co-sponsoring a Young Professionals of Central Indiana event right next door at DeveloperTown, which will include panelist, Ting Gootee, CFA, who happens to be a member of both organizations! The event, “Women in Tech” will feature 5 high profile women in the tech and investment management industries who are driving innovation and disruption for the region. Attendees of Open Mic Pitch Night will receive free access to this event, which also includes free food and beverages. The panel discussion will begin at 6pm. About WIN The Women Investors Network was formed in 2019 to fill the need for an organization supporting women in Central Indiana’s investment industry. We recognized the positive impact that having female connections, mentors, and role-models within the industry had on our own careers and knew that other women could benefit from making those connections. Since its foundation, WIN has hosted a variety of networking events, provided volunteer opportunities, and engaged in outreach to local universities.
