Frank Darling is a rapidly growing, female-founded fine jewelry brand specializing in bespoke engagement rings that feature lab-grown and ethically sourced natural diamonds. We’re seeking a diamond operations associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a focused, detail-oriented jewelry professional that thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Jewelry experience preffered. If you don't have jewelry experience, please let us know why you're interested in the industry! Responsibilities: Pick up and drop off diamonds at suppliers in the diamond district Pick up and drop off castings at suppliers in the diamond district Check diamonds on intake/return for certificate numbers Receive incoming tasks and communicate by phone, slack, or in-person Travel from our location in Soho, NY to the diamond district (West 45th Street - West 48th Street) by subway, with an unlimited subway card paid for by Frank Darling. The position may require multiple trips a day to and from our showroom to the Diamond District. Transport stones and finished pieces between our office and our contractors. Pick up and return diamonds while maintaining the proper paperwork and records Organize memo pick-ups and returns Coordinate memo pick-ups and returns with suppliers File memo paperwork for diamonds About You: Extremely detail-oriented Thrives in a fast-paced environment Comfortable being on feet Looking to get hands-on experience handling and working with diamonds and fine jewelry Must have excellent time management skills Must be reliable and trustworthy Must be familiar with the subway Must be organized with an ability to maintain detailed records Must be able to meet strict deadlines and adapt to last-minute changes Must have excellent interpersonal skills Qualifications: Diamond grading certificate or GIA GG a plus Jewelry experience a plus High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree a plus Professional References A valid form of ID All Employees Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Criminal background check required
