Part gala, part track meet. Come join us at the Midnight Mile. Ring in the New Year in New York City with an evening of celebration, racing and record-making at the Midnight Mile New Year's Eve Gala. Bring your dance shoes and cocktail attire to enjoy food, drink, and music on the infield of the Armory. Or bring your spikes and singlet to race a mile on the track. Ideally, bring both. The festive night of racing for all ages and abilities will hit its peak at the stroke of midnight when five-time Olympian Nick Willis kicks off 2022 with a world-record attempt to break 4:00 in the mile for the 20th consecutive year. All proceeds from ticket and table sales will support the Tracksmith Foundation’s mission to create more opportunities and inspire broader participation in track and field.
