A MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERE. A STORY ABOUT A KID IN NUEVA YORK Daso is a singer/songwriter from NYC who writes and performs his new fusion music which is a mix of Latin, Salsa, Hip Hop and Reggae. A sound he calls Afro Caribbean Soul. Daso El Afro Caribeño will premiere the visual for the single Jengibre. A song written during the height of phase 1 of the pandemic and co-written by amazing musician the legendary Conjunto Saoco Founder and Band Leader William Millan. When there is no cure, Ginger. A song that reflects on his childhood in New York City with his grandmother. The “JENGIBRE” music video is the story of a kid raised in Nueva York with dreams of becoming a performing artist. The road wasn’t easy, but still inspired by all of the beauty around him. Overcoming obstacles and maintaining a remembrance of the examples of hard work, love & artistic expression. A story of the Nuyorican Experience and memories of abuelita that got him though tough times. JENGIBRE is a symbol of Music Healing & Inspiration.
