Guided tour for parents and children focused on Hellenism and Judaism in celebration of Chanukah. COJECO RJKrug invites families to the Metropolitan Museum of Arts for a unique program for parents and children ages 10-15. Dr. Yigal Kotler, Jewish educator and historian will lead the tour for parents (in Russian), while Nachliel Selavan, expert in ancient Jewish history and museum educator will be a guide for the younger generation (in English). During our tour, we will explore the outstanding but controversial role of the grand Greco-Roman civilization in Jewish history. Analyzing numerous museum artifacts, we will take a fresh look at the historical context of the story of Chanukah. Museum entrance is included in the price of the tour.
