Looking to form 'U2' Cover Band

Good day local musicians, I am a bass player/rythmn guitar player looking for already formed bands who want a side gig or people who would like to organize a band to play 'U2' cover music. I have been a fan of their music for over 34+ years. I have attended many shows and really enjoy their old stuff as well as their new music. Wanting some like mind individuals who would be interested in playing their music. I would like to get to point where we could play some local venues and see where it goes. I attended a Smashing Pumpkin & Stone Temple Pilot cover band performance at Orange Peel and it really sparked my interest. It was like reliving my past. I think a lot of people and places would be interested in seeing how we could pull it off. I'm fine with taking the position of Bass player. Needing a good lead singer, guitar player, and drummer. Wondering if any local bands would be interested in doing this as a side gig. Pretty easy to learn their stuff. Let me know your thoughts (without flaming me, musicians need to be open and accepting to people's musical tastes) I don't have a perfect place to practice but could get away it for awhile. Need to discuss equipment needed. I have my gear covered. Just FYI I'm 52 years old so if age differences bother you no need apply. Thank you ML
