Join us for a meet n' greet for the ATX zero-waste community with Ridwell's founder, Ryan Metzger. Join us for an evening get together at the beautiful Casa De Luz village! Bring any extra plastic planter pots you have lying around, to support Barton Springs Nursery, who uses reused planters for their plants and is in particular need of 1 gallon planter pots. Come chat with Ryan Metzger, founder of Ridwell, and others in the local zero waste / sustainability community. Ryan founded Ridwell ~3 years ago inspired by he and his 6-year-old son's neighborhood collection/carpooling effort of hard to recycle goods. It's now helped households save ~3 million pounds of waste from the landfill. We will gather at Casa De Luz from 6:00-7:30 pm (if it's nice out, we'll gather outside in the courtyard).
