Collision and Restoration Body Shop located in Riviera Beach is searching for an experienced automotive body technician. The body man is responsible to prepare all assigned vehicles to be ready to paint. This will include repair and assembly of damaged vehicles following the work order in accordance with standards of the company in terms of quality and time. Job is FULL TIME. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Thoroughly examine the vehicle damages • Return the vehicle back to factory specifications • Remove vehicle trim to gain access to vehicle body • Can properly fill depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair • Able to remove damaged parts using power tools and cutting torch • Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment • Straighten bent automobile frames using frame wrack • File, grind and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools • Replace panels and align properly • Make cosmetic repairs • Perform other duties as assigned by management • Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications • Perform quality repairs in a respectable time QUALIFICATIONS: • 1-4 years body shop experience strongly preferred • Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced environment • Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment • MUST have valid driver's license
