Join us this evening for an hour session to learn useful communication and parenting tips for your keiki! After almost two years, Keiki o Ka ʻĀina is excited to offer limited in-person classes again! In-person attendees will be required to: Show proof of Covid vaccine (or proof of a negative Covid test results within 48-hours) and a picture ID.Temperature check and complete a wellness questionnaire. Wear their mask at all times and practice social distancing.No childcare will be available. All ʻohana members will need to stay together while on-site. No outside food or beverages but water bottles are okay.***** Changes to these procedures are possible and as much notice as possible will be given for major changes. Our organization develops new programs and implements research-proven, nationally acclaimed curriculum in Native Hawaiian communities. Our programs serve parents and preschool age children, prenatal to 5 years old helping them to be prepared for kindergarten. In addition, we offer support services that enhance both existing and new keiki development programs. These specialized services include Native Hawaiian cultural enrichment activities, development of Hawaiian-based family literacy curriculum, and family wellness support. A strong research and evaluation component is an integral part of our overall services. We serve over 4,000 children and parents at over 40 different sites covering Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, and Hawaii Island.
