RC Superintendent Dr. Lori Simon Break*Down educational luncheon by PCRW seeks to: break down political issues, give you the raw facts, cover hot topics, provide excellent speakers and give monthly congressional updates. All are welcome! Superintendent of Rapid City Area Schools, Dr. Lori Simon, will be the guest speaker at the Jan. 20 meeting of Pennington County Republican Women from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the second-floor ballroom of the Alex Johnson Hotel in downtown Rapid City. Dr. Simon will provide District highlights and address what she views as the District’s largest challenges as well as solutions for those challenges. Dr. Simon’s presentation is the first of a two-part series on education. The March 17 meeting will feature a member(s) of the Rapid City Area Schools board. The program begins with a buffet luncheon at 11:30 a.m., and will last until 1:00 p.m. The fee to attend with lunch is $25 with pre-registration before Jan. 17, or $30 at the door. Guests may also attend without lunch for only $10.
