Our mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. We support this mission through the funding of suicide prevention research, presenting prevention education programs to the community, advocating for public policy and supporting the survivors of suicide loss community. All funds raised at the chapter level go directly back into the organization to support this mission. The Georgia Chapter hosts an annual spring fundraiser called Party for Prevention. We will be hosting this event on Saturday, April 23rd 2022 at Wild Heaven Brewery in West End. There will be live music, food and drinks, a silent auction, raffle and much more! Your contribution will go toward the $35,000 fundraising goal we have set for Party for Prevention. Thank you for your support and participation! My name is Melissa and my path to yoga began over 15 years ago when I stumbled on a yoga class at my gym. I fell in love with the peace it brought me and was instantly hooked on the work out and work in. The love for craft beer began with my first sip of a Ballast Point Sculpin, affectionately now referred to as my gateway beer. Since then, I have enjoyed visiting breweries and making new friends along the way, whether I am 1,000 miles away from home or right around the corner. Combining two of my favorite things, yoga and beer, is a match made in heaven! Yoga should be accessible and friendly for all, and beer yoga is a fun way to try something new! Do not be surprised if a lot of jokes are cracked as I try not to take myself or yoga too seriously! Let's have some fun and sweat to the coldies at a brewery! Cheers!
