Sunday night of MLK weekend, Polglamorous takes over both floors at Public Works Hailing from Detroit, DJ Minx has been commanding dance floors since the 90's, founding the DJ collective Women on Wax in 96 and the label Women on Wax Recordings in 2001. She played the first Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2000 and has continued to make appearances at the event in its present form, Movement. Minx played for Polyglamorous Pride at Oasis in 2018. Keenan Orr has also been keeping it down since the 90's, DJing in Washington DC’s underground dance parties and clubs. He's made a number of San Francisco appearances including Sneaks in 2018. Both Minx and Keenan performed for our streaming Pride event in 2020, and we are excited to present them live and in person. Upstairs we are presenting Fawks, co-founder of Fog City Pack and creator of Fawkstales. Fawks' sets blend Minimal / Deep Tech, Melodic Techno, and Progressive House to cast a spell you won't want to emerge from. Polyglamorous is an event production collective which produces the monthly queer dance party Polyglamorous @ F8. Polyglamorous also as produces larger underground events such as Sneaks.  Polyglamorous is comprised of designer/DJ Benjamin Bellayuto and DJ's Mark O'Brien and John Major.  We regularly collaborate with other artists, musicians, performers, producers.
