Urban Nocturnes, makes its Saint Barnabas debut with works by Schumann, Villa Lobos, and local composer Tom Breadon Saint Barnabas PresentsConcerts on the DesertUrban Nocturnes | Concert 4SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26 at 4:00pm Franz Josef Haydn London Trio No 1Max Reger Serenade for Flute, Violin, and Viola Louis Spohr Duet for Violin and ViolaEndre Szervansky Trio for Flute, Violin, and Viola Phoenix-based chamber ensemble Urban Nocturnes's first concert appearance at Saint Barnabas features music for flute, violin, and viola, performed by Viviana Cumplido Wilson, Karen Sinclair, and Christopher McKay. Franz Josef Haydn's youthful London Trio No.1 opens the program and is followed by the playful and impetuous Serenade for Flute, Violin, and Viola by Post-Romantic German composer Max Reger. Widely considered one of Haydn’s greatest compositions, this work for soloists, orchestra, and chorus is a glorious combination of emotion, musical timbres, and reflective piety.
