Seeking a keyboardist for a gig on Dec 24, 2021; noon-2pm, $180.

Hi, I'm a Berklee alumnus and I'm needing a keyboard player for a gig with my Latin quartet (Camelia Latin Classics Quartet) on Dec 24, 2021, from noon to 2 pm. Pay is $180. You won't need to know the different Latin rhythms that I play (salsa, merengue, bachata & cumbia) because everything is written out on the charts. (I've chosen to do that so I would not need to depend only on musicians who already knew the styles.) But you do need to be a good reader and be able to play "in sync" with the percussion players. For this group, you won't need to know jazz improvisation (I also have a Latin-jazz trio [Camelia Latin-jazz Trio] that requires jazz improvisation). (You won't need to be doing the background singing, but if you can, that will make you a priority among the keyboard players.) We will do at least 1 rehearsal with the whole group at my place (480 Mystic Ave, Somerville, MA, 02145), but before that, you will also do an individual rehearsal just with me. (If you don't have a car, my place is easily accessible by T.)
