Starting original band/collaboration

Hello all! I'm looking to start an original band. I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember and have began to record some of them. It's been a few years since I've been in a band, but I'd really like to start performing some of these songs with others. I'm more than open to collaborating with others, so if you too are a songwriter, I'd love to hear your ideas as well. My style is alternative/electro synth pop. Think like The 1975, CHVRCHES, The Naked and Famous, Quinn XCII, The Band Camino, The Neighborhood. Looking for any and all musicians that would be interested in playing/writing this genre of music. I play guitar (I prefer to play rhythm), sing, and can play keys in a pinch. Additional guitarists, keyboardists, bassists, drummers, vocalists, and synths are all welcome. Once we get a few songs down, I'd love to start gigging and performing for live audiences. Also open to covering any songs we mutually like. I'm 27M.
