PLEASE NOTE: This Class has a total of 4 Sessions. Each Session will be Held on Tuesday from 7-9pm From Jan 4th to Jan 25th
Veneering opens a world of possibilities to the woodworker. Woods that would be difficult to get, or be highly expensive can be affordable with veneer, and veneering makes it possible to do projects that would be virtually impossible to make with lumber.
Veneering is easy, once you know the basics. And once you know the basics your imagination can take you to do projects all will admire. The class will cover veneer selection, cutting and joining, gluing, sanding and finishing. Design considerations will be discussed.
Students are encouraged to have projects they would like to work on during the class.
Please Note: The instructor will email you with additional materials you should purchase for participation in this class, including a self-healing cutting mat, straight edge, and razor blade.
