WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's positive coronavirus test rate was higher than the statewide rate over the last two weeks, according to the latest Department of Public Health community-level data released Thursday. In Wilmington, 6.93 percent of tests came back positive from Nov. 21 to Dec. 4. Statewide, the positive test rate was 4.46 percent in that period. The weekly average positive rate hit 5.01 percent statewide Thursday. >>MA Town-By-Town Coronavirus: Positive Rate Rises Above 5 Percent In that two-week period, Wilmington had 205 cases, up from 140 in the previous week's report. That's 59.9 daily cases per 100,000 residents, on average. The latest data also shows that over two-thirds of Wilmington residents are now fully vaccinated.
