Press release from the Metropolitan Police Department: December 8, 2021 Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public's assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in the 1400 block of 22nd Street, Southeast. At approximately 8:50 am, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The suspect's vehicle, described as a 2008 Buick Lucerne, was last seen bearing an unknown temporary tag.
