BELLEVUE, WA — An apartment fire in the Eastgate area prompted a large emergency response Thursday morning and left two families in need of a home, according to the Bellevue Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived at an apartment complex on Southeast 43rd Street shortly after 10 a.m., responding to a reported kitchen fire inside the building. Crews had the fire knocked down in just a few minutes and a search found no victims in need of treatment, officials said.
