Press release from the City of San Antonio: Wednesday, December 8, 2021 CONTACT: Tonya Hope, Public Relations Manager San Antonio International Airport O: 210-207-1515, [email protected] San Antonio (December 8, 2021) – Southwest Airlines (SWA) announced its new nonstop service from San Antonio International Airport (SAT) to Will Rogers World Airport (OKC) today. The low-cost carrier is offering leisure and business customers another option for travel to Oklahoma. The flight will operate on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, departing SAT at 10:00am arriving in Oklahoma City at 11:35am onboard a 143-seat 737-700. The return flight will depart Oklahoma City at 7:00am and arrive in SAT at 8:35am. "Southwest Airlines continues to be our largest carrier and today's announcement will make it easier for travelers to have seamless connectivity for both business and leisure travel," said Jesus Saenz,Jr. Director of Airports, San Antonio Airport System. "The carrier celebrated its 50- year anniversary and we are happy to see the airline continue grow in our city". San Antonio International Airport has nonstop flights to 41 destinations.
