HPD Investigating Skeletal Remains Found In NE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is awaiting autopsy results after skeletal remains were found in front of a house in northeast Houston on Wednesday afternoon. The remains were found at 9919 Valley Lake Drive by a landscaper mowing a neighbor's yard, Houston police were told by the landscaper. Law enforcement is waiting for autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine the identity, gender and cause of death of the remains. Houston police are urging anyone with information in this case to contact the HPD Homicide Division at (713) 308-3600.
