Boat Mechanic Assistant Mossy Boats LLC is a mobile boat mechanics business the services the Bay Area located out of Oakley, Ca. We are one of very few business in the Bay Area that services boats and specialize in mobile mechanics. We are a small growing company looking to expand over the entire Bay Area. Job Description: We are looking for someone who can assist lead mechanics while on the job, and eventually move up to a lead mechanic. We hope to find long term employees for the Mossy Boats. This could be a great opportunity to be apart of the Mossy Boats Family and learn about marine mechanics. Responsibilities: Assist with performing diagnostics, maintenance and repair of all types of marine engines: Outboards, Inboards, and performing work on boats both service and rigging as needed. Troubleshoot, repair and install parts and accessories in boats. Qualifications: Be flexible - We can work with your schedule, but we work with the client as well, so jobs locations and times vary. Typically jobs vary from Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm and weekends. Typically we work out of the East Bay, but we travel to other parts of the bay area as well. Positive attitude - Be a team player and listen to instructions from the lead mechanic. Be as helpful and efficient as possible. Reliable - Be available during the scheduled hours and on time to jobs. Professionalism - We value our customers and want to give them the very best service we can offer. We try to give the client exactly what they ask for in a timely manner and with clean efficient work.
